Monday to be dusty, cloudy: NMC

The National Meteorological Centre NMC predicts the weather to be dusty and cloudy with chances of rains from Monday to Thursday.

According to the NMC, Monday’s weather will be dusty and partially cloudy, sometimes cloudy, with an opportunity for rains on some areas, especially coastal, western and northern, with a decrease in temperatures.

Winds are expected to be southeasterly to northeasterly, with moderate speed, but active at times and dust stirring leading to low visibility. The winds speed will range from 20 to 35 up to 45 km/h, especially at sea, with cumulative clouds.

The sea is expected to be moderate and sometimes turbulent in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman.

The Centre indicated that Tuesday’s weather will be dusty and partly cloudy, sometimes cloudy over different parts of the country, with an opportunity for rains.

The NMC expected winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, moderate to active, strong at times, and dust stirring, which would result in low visibility, with a speed ranging from 20 to 35 up to 50 km/h. The sea will be sometimes turbulent in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in the Sea of Oman.

Wednesday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with rain falling on separate areas, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder. 

Winds on Wednesday will be southeasterly to northeasterly, moderate to active and strong, dust stirring at times, resulting in low visibility, with a speed ranging from 20 to 35 up to 50 km/h.

The sea on Wednesday is turbulent in the Arabian Gulf, moderate and sometimes turbulent in the Sea of Oman.

Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with rains on separate areas, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Winds on Thursday will be northeasterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, and at times strong, dust stirring, resulting in low visibility, at a speed ranging from 20 to 35 up to 50 km/h.

The sea on Thursday will be turbulent in the Arabian Gulf, moderate and sometimes turbulent in the Sea of Oman.
