The more the merrier: American TV host and actor Nick Cannon has 11th child, 12th one coming soon

The more the merrier. Perhaps no other person believes in this maxim more ardently than American television host and actor Nick Cannon. He loves having a large brood: he was just blessed with his 11th child. The 12th one is coming up soon. A happy Cannon posted the news on his Instagram account on Saturday.

The TV presenter revealed that his and De La Rosa’s daughter, named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, was born on Friday, 11 November. The news that De La Rosa was in the family way with his 11th child was confirmed this week. She already shares her 16-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Cannon. But this was not the 11th child for model Abby De La Rosa. It was the third. He has had other children before, but not from the same mother. As the adage goes, variety is the spice of life.

This is Cannon’s fourth child born this year to four different mothers, according to the Independent. Cannon welcomed a son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi, model turned real estate agent, in June; a daughter, Onyx Ice Cole with model Lanisha Cole in September; a son, Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell, also a model, in October; and now a daughter with De La Rosa.

Eleven years ago, Cannon fathered twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with the singer Mariah Carey. Only nine days after Onyx was born, Cannon announced the birth of his tenth child with Brittany Bell (his third child ultimately with the model). He welcomed his third and fourth babies, with Bell, in 2017 and 2020: a son called Golden Sagon and a daughter called Powerful Queen.

De La Rosa gave him twins in June 2021. Then followed a son with Alyssa Scott, also in June. Called Zen, he was diagnosed with brain cancer and died five months later. There is more happy albeit revelatory news: he is expecting his 12th child with Alyssa Scott. The family tree cannot get more complicated than this. Netizens were quick to come out with witty quips.

Responding to a tweet about the world population nearing eight billion, one person wrote: “I think we know who to blame.” Another Twitter user joked that Cannon had inspired the important questions they would ask a potential suitor. “First date question: are you currently expecting a child with Nick Cannon?”
