Remarkable drop in temperatures across UAE in coming days with some rain on the cards

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected that the weather on Saturday will be partly cloudy and dusty at times, becoming cloudy far north with a probability of light rain by Sunday morning.

The winds are also expected to be light to moderate, southeasterly, becoming gradually fresh northwesterly and strong at times especially over the sea by late night and Sunday morning, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching up to 45 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough gradually by late night and Sunday morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.

The Sunday’s weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times northward, with a significant decrease in temperatures. The winds will be moderate to fresh northwesterly and strong at times especially over the sea blowing dust and sand that may affect the horizontal visibility, with a speed of 20 – 30 reaching 55 km/hr. The sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate becoming rough by afternoon in the Sea of Oman.

The weather on Monday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general. The winds will be moderate to fresh, northwesterly and strong at times especially over the sea blowing dust and sand that may affect the horizontal visibility especially northward, with a speed of 15 – 30 reaching up to 50 km/hr. The sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Sea of Oman.

The Tuesday’s weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times northward. The winds will be moderate to fresh, northwesterly, blowing dust, with a speed of 15– 25 reaching up to 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
