Dr. Jamal Al Sharqawi thanked the Ajman Police for honouring him.

Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, honoured Dr. Jamal Ahmed Ibrahim Al Sharqawi for his cooperation and support for the financially insolvent inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution-Ajman by donating Dhs151,000 to them.

Maj. Gen. Al Nuaimi appreciated Dr. Jamal Al Sharqawi for his generous support to the inmates, praising his efforts and charity work to alleviate the burden of inmates and their families. He also stressed that the contribution of community members, businessmen, prominent figures in the emirate and various institutions to supporting inmates, translates the social empowerment and promotes the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among individuals.

On his part, Dr. Jamal Al Sharqawi thanked the Ajman Police for honouring him, and that he was pleased and honoured to contribute to supporting inmates in the UAE the country of giving. The Dubai Police have recently honoured Tariq Mahmood Khalid Mahmood, an Indian national resident, for handing over Dhs1,000,000 cash he had found in the elevator of his residential building to the Al Barsha Police Station.

Brigadier Abdul Rahim Bin Shafi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station, praised Mahmood for his honesty and handing over the large sum to the nearest police station. Brig Bin Shafi also awarded Mahmood with a certificate of appreciation to emphasise the importance of collaboration between the community and police. Brig Bin Shafi further reaffirmed the Dubai Police's keenness on strengthening the concept of community partnership and reinforcing the sense of responsibility among individuals.

Mahmood thanked the Dubai Police for honouring him and said the honour gave him great pride and joy. The Al Qusais Police Station has recently honoured Dubai taxi driver Abdulraheem Mzomidier Rajeef for his honesty as he had handed the police station a handbag containing some cash, official documents, and passports forgotten by a passenger. Brigadier Abdulhalim Muhammad Ahmad Al Hashimi, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, thanked the Bengali driver on behalf of the force and praised his positive response to emphasise the importance of the collaboration between the community and police.
