The Indian people are cheering at the victory of Kamala Harris because she owes half her lineage to south Asia, specifically south India. Her nationality is 100 per cent American of course. However that hasn’t stopped Indians from cheering her on as if her victory is their own. They even are looking forward to her wearing a sari, despite that her being 100 per cent American and half her blood being African, means she could wear anything under the sun.

Back home, Sonia Gandhi who has a 100 per cent Indian nationality, though she has Italian blood is taunted to be a foreigner and she’s forever pricked about her Italian descent. She married an Indian, Rajiv Gandhi and she took to India as her home. She is always decked in a sari and has adopted Indian mannerisms and the Hindi language. Yet, the Indians forever prick her and her children, especially Rahul Gandhi who has half Indian and half Italian blood and is 100 per cent Indian nationality.

We don’t know if Kamala speaks Tamil or Hindi. Indians are proud that Kamala will be making decisions for America but they hate Sonia Gandhi for being in a position that makes decisions for India, calling her a firangi.
