VIDEO: Yachts' parade to mark 50th National Day at Dubai Marina leaves audience spellbound

The second “UAE National Day-Marine Edition” celebration in Dubai left audiences spellbound and moved them on their feet on Wednesday at Dubai Marina.  

A fleet of 30 yachts, seven boats and six jet skis decorated with colourful flags and balloons, paraded just before the flag hoisting ceremony.  

Nearly 500 UAE nationals, residents and visitors participated in the grand event.  

Meanwhile, to pay the special tribute to UAE’s 50th anniversary, 50 flags were hoisted at the iconic Dubai Marina, while a 50-metre long flag was also hoisted from a yacht docked close to Dubai’s Bluewater’s Island, that symbolised UAE’s glorious journey.
