Prayer for rain in all mosques on Friday

In implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan a prayer for rain, known in Arabic as Salaat Al Istisqaa, will be performed at all mosques and prayer areas across the UAE, ten minutes before the Friday prayer, 12 November, which will be aired from Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on time.

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) took all preparations and coordination with the competent authorities to take the necessary procedures in the country mosques and prayer areas.

GAIAE declared that the prayer in Abu Dhabi will be performed at 12:00pm, in Dubai at 11:56am, in Sharjah at 11:55am, in Ajman and Umm Al Quwain at 11:54am, in Ras Al Khaimah at 11:53am, in Fujairah and Khor Fakkan at 11:51am, in Al Ain at 11 : 54am and in Al Dhafra area at12:02pm.
