Filipino expat Paterio had never imagined in his dreams that mere selection of  five numbers will change his life forever and will catapult him into elite company of multimillionaires.

52-year-old Paterio has become the 19th Mahzooz millionaire and the first Top Prize winner of Mahzooz’s new game design when he chose the five winning numbers 4, 26, 36, 37 and 38.

Paterio is sure that Dhs10,000,000 winning amount is more than he has ever dreamt of and is enough to give his family all the possible comforts imaginable.

The material contract supervisor says that he could never save such a huge amount even if he had worked for a hundred years.

Among his priority is state-of-the-art care for his younger son who has cerebral palsy as he says that there are some dreams Dhs10,000,000 can’t fulfil, like helping my child who can’t walk or sit live a normal life.

But he is sure that this money will definitely help him take care of his son’s medical expenses and give him the best at-home hospital care possible.

Next things in his wish-list are a big house followed by real estate investments.

“I will remain forever grateful to Mahzooz for that,” explains the regular Mahzooz participant.

 “A family house has been my wife’s greatest dream for years, and now it’s time to finally grant her that wish,” he says.

The self-confessed motor-head plans to buy a Ford Raptor, not as a treat for himself, he clarifies, but another prudent investment.

But right now Paterio is all excited for his imminent reunion with his family.

“I’ve spent the last decade toiling away alone in Madagascar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, just to ensure my family is comfortable. It’s time for me to be with them and help care for my child.”

The 50th weekly live Mahzooz Grand Draw also saw 16 winners share the second prize of Dhs 1,000,000 and 884 winners bag the third prize of Dhs 350 each.

Additionally, three winners took home Dhs100,000 each in the Raffle Draw which features three guaranteed winners every week. The total prize money won in the 50th draw was Dhs11,309,400.
