UAE announces 1,883 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1,883 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

In addition to the new cases, 1,956 individuals recovered and four people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has conducted 243, 759 additional tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 476,019 positive coronavirus cases, 460,841 have recovered and 1,520 passed away.
