672 new coronavirus cases in UAE, a death

The UAE Health Ministry conducted 54,000 Covid-19 tests, and revealed 672 new cases and a death on Friday.

This brings the total number of cases to 50,141. The new cases identified are undergoing treatment.

The total number of recovered cases of coronavirus has reached 39,153 with 489 cases recovered on Friday after receiving treatment.

The ministry of health said the deceased person who tested positive for COVID-19, died due to complications.

The total death toll jumped to 318 in the country.

The ministry offered its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to patients currently undergoing medical care.

The members of the public have been urged to adhere to all health guidelines and follow all instructions from relevant authorities, particularly those concerning social distancing, in order to ensure the health and safety of all.
