Sultan approves another 226 cases for urgent employment

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved 226 more cases for urgent employment at a total annual cost of Dhs70 million.

This is part of the second batch of employment of the set forth 6 categories: orphans, children of low income families, divorcees, family supporting wives, people of determination with 2018-2019 academic qualifications and martyrs’ family members of low income.

Last week, Sheikh Sultan approved the first batch of 161 cases for urgent employment at a total annual cost of Dhs60 million.

Sheikh Sultan thereby approved in one week 387 cases within the first and second batches at a total annual cost of Dhs130 million.

This was announced by Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi while presenting the Direct Line programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio and TV.

The jobs of the second batch will be divided into the 6 categories as follows: orphans 35 cases, children of low income families 197 cases, divorcees 12 cases, family supporting wives 4 cases, people of determination with 2018-2019 academic qualifications 8 cases and martyrs’ family members of low income 10 cases, Al Suwaidi said.

The 226 jobs were distributed on all the emirate’s cities and regions as follows: 62 in Sharjah City (26 males and 37 females), 42 in Khor Fakkan (24 males and 18 females), 45 in Kalba (20 males and 25 females), 14 in Dibba Al Hisn (1 male and 13 females), 12 in Al Dhaid (3 males and 9 females), 30 in Al Madam (6 males and 24 females), 12 in Mleiha (2 males and 10 females), 4 males in Al Batayeh and 4 in Wadi Al Helo (2 males ans 2 females), he added.

The approved cases include 88 for men and 138 for women and will be employed in their respective cities, he said, adding that such lists of cases would be approved from time to time.
