The general impression is that royalty is all about palaces, ceremonial ostentation, pomp and splendour.

The fact is that royalty and modesty can go together. As King Abdullah of Jordan and his family have shown in this video, posted by Queen Rania on her Instagram account.

This video shows the King, Queen Rania and their children having a simple Iftar. Queen Rania captioned the clip, “Wonderful to have the whole family together for Iftar.”

The royals have led by example, truly. Recently she posted another video of another Iftar, saying, “A wonderful Iftar this evening with a group of leading young women who are excelling in various fields.”

Queen Rania is very active in social, charitable and humanitarian activities, which are praiseworthy.
