A massive fire broke out in Sharjah’s Industrial Area on Friday afternoon.
Civil Defence vehicle were seen rushing to the site. Gulf Today learned that the fire was in a factory located in one of the Industrial areas of Sharjah.
Thick black smoke billowing from the site was clearly visible from Gulf Today office in Al Khan.
Several fire engines were trying to douse the flame. The exact cause of the inferno is not known.
There were no casualties reported. All residents were evacuated.
Civil Defence teams are securing the area to stop the fire from spreading to other building.
