UAE Ministry of Education suspends schools due to bad weather

Cars move at a slow pace during rain in Sharjah.

The UAE Ministry of Education has announced that schools will be suspended on Sunday due to bad weather and poor road condition.

The ministry announced the decision on its official Twitter account on Saturday.

Several roads were flooded and services disrupted as a result of heavy rain across the UAE.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects that the weather on Sunday will remain cloudy with rainfall of different intensities over scattered areas especially east and northwards and thunder activity by morning, with decrease in temperature.
