Commenting on the visit, she said, “Our visit to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain was as part of the activities we have planned in the ‘Year of Tolerance’. The young children of cancer have been suffering from different chronic diseases and we through our kind gestures not only boost their spirit and will to fight back their diseases but also showed our solidarity to help them in all means. These children indeed need to be given full support from the community throughout their treatment as part of the social service,” she added.

She also stressed that philanthropists from the community should come forward to support such patients and organise collective visits of such cancer patients in different hospitals to boost their willpower to overcome and fight their cancers. “We are fortunate in the UAE with all the modern healthcare facilities as well as professional expertise in every fields of healthcare as well as any other fields. There is no shortage of good people who are always ready to help deserving people in different ways but at the same time it is our social responsibility as a part of the community to extend our support through our little actions at least, such as visiting patients, distributing gifts, food and sweets as part of the society created by the wise leadership of this country,” she said.
