A four-hour entertainment window every weekend will be filled by folk-based and contemporary shows.

Sharjah: Al Montazah Parks in Sharjah will be welcoming the new season with a spectacular three-weekend ‘Spring Festival’ starting today (Thursday), 28 March – 12 April, 2019, offering residents and tourists of all age groups a plethora of enjoyment and entertainment with acrobatic shows and colourful parades that will go around the family amusement and waterpark destination.

A four-hour entertainment window every weekend will be filled by folk-based and contemporary shows to match the larger-than-life aura of Al Montazah Parks. From 5:00 – 9:40 p.m. on March 28 - 29, the Spring Festival will be bringing in the ‘Sweetilicious’ show and parade, and a musical titled, ‘Waitress Flash Mob’. Another show-parade ‘Roses’, will be featured on Saturday 30 March.

The first weekend of (4 - 5) April, will unveil ‘Toy Soldiers’ show and parade, and the ‘Funny Orchestra & LOL Dolls’. On 6 April, go in expecting a big ‘Tea Party’. The following weekend will start out with a repeat of the quintessentially spring ‘Roses’ show and parade on 11 April.

On 12 April, Al Montazah Parks will host a special celebration to mark the 14th anniversary of the Eye of the Emirates wheel, this will be followed by two awe- inspiring dance shows, ‘Unicorns and Rainbows & Bubbles’ and ‘Tea Party’.

Sharjah’s family amusement destination has planned a spectacular firework show at 9:00 p.m., on 12 April, which will bring the spring festival to a ceremonious close.

Prior to opening the waterpark each day, Park Management and the Maintenance Staff inspect the waterpark to ensure the attractions are in safe working order. Pearls Kingdom is also subject to a set of external examinations including inspections by the Technical Safety Standards Authority and the UAE Health Department throughout the year. To ensure guest safety, Pearls Kingdom is a member of the world’s leading lifesaving organisation, which works to prevent drowning and water-related injury through training programs, public education, safety management services and lifesaving support and provides the only nationally recognised lifeguarding certification.

The aquatic Staff is made up of members from over 15 nationalities and are rotated across the park on their shifts, so as to ensure the highest level of alertness.

The staff is also mandated to attend in-water training to ensure that their skills meet the high level of standards set out by the Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. (E&A) is an International Aquatic Safety and Risk Management Consulting.
