Dubai Miracle Garden to hold first ever group yoga lesson

DUBAI: Dubai Miracle Garden - the world’s largest natural flower garden - invites all UAE families and yoga fans to make the most of the beautiful Dubai weather and join in the fun of a unique one-hour group yoga class on Saturday 16th March in the garden’s Disney Avenue, against a backdrop of stunning giant floral structures of Mickey Mouse and Friends.
 
Inspired by Disney’s Healthy Living commitment which uses Disney’s characters and stories to make healthier living fun and simple, the lesson will be led by yoga instructors from Dubai-based Yoga Ashram and is open to everyone aged 8 upwards, of all capabilities. The lesson is included in the garden’s usual entrance fee (50Dhs for adults, 40Dhs for kids 12 Years and below, free for people with disabilities and children below 2 years of age - to be noted there are limited spaces available for this event).

Guests are invited to register at 9am at the garden’s VIP entrance, with the lesson starting at 9.30am prompt, and to bring their own colourful mat and outfits; the brighter the better! For children attending under 8 years of age, or not wanting to participate in the yoga lesson, there will be a number of fun activities provided by dairy company Arla Foods - including a Mickey & Friends themed face painting station, a ball pit, colouring station, and an educational healthy food spinning wheel. Arla Foods will also host a sampling stand at the event, offering guests a range of refreshments.
 
Once the lesson finishes, guests are able to enjoy the gardens’ 72,000 sqm space of magnificent sculptures and designs, including Disney Avenue’s magnificent floral structures based on the Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck; and Huey, Dewey, and Louie - weighing an average of five tons each, with least 30,000 flowers and plants used for each character. The opening of the garden’s Disney Avenue follows the recent unveiling of an 18-metre floral structure of Mickey Mouse to celebrate the iconic character’s 90th anniversary, which earned Dubai Miracle Garden its third Guinness World Record
