DUBAI: The Criminal Court in Dubai on Tuesday sentenced a 22-year-old Arab national to six months in jail over the charge of attempting to murder his roommate, 51.
The convict stabbed his compatriot in the chest several times, endangering his life, because he reportedly insulted him.
The convict defended himself justifying his crime that he was furious when the victim insulted him.
He stated, “I was in the kitchen preparing the food and there was a knife in my hand, when the victim entered the kitchen and insulted me. I could not control my anger and stabbed him in his chest.”
