UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan inaugurated the International Day of Yoga celebrations at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
Sheikh Nahyan with the chargé d'affaires of the Indian Embassy Smita Pant and a leading Indian businessman, BR Shetty, performed yoga at the park in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Nahyan said, "Yoga encourages an attitude that looks towards a common humanity as an extension of the ancient principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi team left no stone unturned to make the International Day of Yoga a huge success.
The park saw a huge number of participants for the event.
