Steven Ralston, a former Manchester United player and keen follower of the club's social media, revealed that the club has signed 20-year-old Emirati goalkeeper Abdullah Anwar Al Hammadi to join the U21 team.
Throughout the past period, Al Hammadi had successfully completed tests at the Carrington training centre.
Sources previously told ‘Gulf Today Sports' that the young goalkeeper is extremely talented and has considered playing in England through his studies in sports management at the University of Liverpool. He has previously undergone a trial period with Everton's Under-21 team.
It's worth noting that the young goalkeeper's father is Dr. Anwar Al Hammadi, a dermatology consultant, and his uncle is sports broadcaster Tariq Al Hammadi. Abdullah played for Al Wasl and joined the youth team in 2024.
