DUBAI: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling service provider, has revealed that the number of buildings using its district cooling services across Dubai has reached 920 in 2016, an increase of 13.6 per cent year-on-year 2015.

According to Empower, there are many reasons behind this increase; one of which is the increase in new projects using the company’s services last year, as well as the increase in its operational capacity.
