Teachers Forum opens in Ajman

AJMAN: The “Teachers Forum” has opened at the Teachers Training Centre in Ajman, with the participation of 10,000 teachers from various fields.

Organised by the Ministry of Education, the forum, which is being held until 11th January, reviews several key points, including modern educational strategies, the mechanisms of implementing them in every subject, and modern teaching methods.  The event aims to communicate with specialists and experts the use of those new methods, which contributes to building a comprehensive learning environment, and develop and improve the performance of teachers, in order to positively affect the outcomes of education in UAE schools and encourage and motivate students to innovate in line with the UAE’s strategy.

The event will also see the presentation of a number of educational awards, including the “Mohamed Bin Zayed Award for the Best GCC Teacher”, the “Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education” and the “Founder Leader’s Award.”

Expo 2020 Dubai will also feature an introductory training course for teachers.

The event includes an accompanying exhibition entitled “Zayed and Education”, which highlights Sheikh Zayed’s great interest in education, in terms of enriching the UAE’s educational systems with scientists and experts.
