Our cooperation with Beit Al Khair Society confirms our support to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s declaration of 2017 as the Year of Giving.”

For his part, Abdeen Taher Al-Awadi, Executive Director of Beit Al Khair Society, expressed his pleasure about the launch “Food for All” initiative, adding that the body is delighted that the initiative has been launched in collaboration with Emirates Islamic Bank to provide a vehicle of food, which will move around the different emirates weekly, distributing food snacks to workers. The move aims to support the deserving segments of society, encourage them and relieving them of their food challenges.

Al-Awadi added that the food truck will be launched in conjunction with the launch of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s initiative, UAE Food Bank.

The development is an optimistic start for more charity programmes and projects that will be witnessed during the course of the year in support of Sheikh Khalifa’s declaration. Food distribution to the needy is an important programme on which the charity body has spent over Dhs77m in the last four years.
