ABU DHABI: A new community-driven initiative to promote the Founding Father’s values of giving and charity was launched on Sunday by the Abu Dhabi Police, in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC.

Major-General Hamad Al Hammadi, Director of the Community Security Sector, Abu Dhabi Police, said the initiative, “The Giving Legacy,” was launched to mark the Year of Zayed, as it seeks to instill the values of Sheikh Zayed in humanitarian and charitable works, as well as in sustainability and the development of human beings.
