DUBAI: The Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club proudly hosted the first show jumping competition of the season on Wednesday.

The club welcomed riders and their horses from all across the UAE for a night of skilled demonstration.

Supporters witnessed 26 riders compete in Classes 1 to 5 with jumps from 20 cm up to 110 cm. Judged by Mohamed Ibrahim from Infinity Challenge and a valuable livery client of the club expressed, “It was good to see young riders compete between Classes 1 to 2 as this will develop their confidence in the sport.

“All competitors showed a good level of competition and it was nice to work with all the team members of the club present during the event.”

Al Habtoor Riding School student Cydnee Howard was beaming as she was placed 1st and 2nd in Class 3 and Class 2 respectively.

She rode on the Riding School’s pony, Kiwi and she happily said, “It was nice to go out there and compete again and Kiwi is my favourite. I’ve always found the events here well organised and I had a really good time.”
