AD University sees robust 7,650-strong fall intake

ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi University recently welcomed around 7,650 new and returning students pursuing their bachelor’s, master’s, and diploma programmes and DBAs across its three campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai with the start of the 2017-2018 academic year.

Focused on enriching student learning, the university is also set to announce the launch of several new initiatives that will be implemented throughout the course of the new academic year, including a diverse calendar of academic, cultural, social and extra-curricular activities that are important to students’ intellectual and professional growth.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Waqar Ahmad, Interim Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University, said: “We are delighted to welcome an unprecedented number of ambitious and excited new undergraduate and postgraduate students across our three campuses.

“We are proud to have our first intake at the new campus in Dubai.

“Students are at the heart of everything we do at ADU, and we work to support them in developing into tomorrow’s leaders, able to transform their communities.
