We are in the middle of awards season right now and of course the same movies are being talked about over and over. This week we are stepping out of the awards bubble to take a look at some of the films we are most excited about seeing in the upcoming months.

Director Francis Ford Coppola is back with what looks like another epic film which he has spent years trying to make. The science fiction movie “Megalopolis” tells the story of a New York woman torn between loyalty to her father and her partner.

An ensemble cast features in this film including Adam Driver, Forest Whitaker, Sonia Ammar, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza and Shia LaBeouf to name a few. The film is not only directed by Coppola but written and produced by him too.

The upcoming action thriller “Ballerina,” directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, stars the talented Ana de Armas. Armas plays a ballerina assassin on a mission to hunt down the people who murdered her family. This film is the second spin-off from the “John Wick” franchise and will no doubt be a hit with audiences and critics alike. Keanu Reeves, as we all know, stars as the famous John Wick.

In other news this week, turn to our Fitness pages to read about gym anxiety and how to overcome it. The start of a new year always sees people make resolutions about fitness. However, many people can feel a certain amount of anxiety when stepping back into the gym, especially if they haven’t been in a while.
