It’s so unfortunate that the war between Russia and Ukraine is still going on, producing nothing but heavy financial losses and misery. The need of the hour is to start meaningful dialogue for eternal peace between both the countries for the sake of innocent people of Russia and Ukraine (“At least 24 killed as Russian missile, drones hit cities across Ukraine,”) Dec.31, Gulf Today website. According to the report, Russia launched 122 missiles and dozens of drones against Ukrainian targets, officials said on Friday, killing at least 24 civilians across the country in what an air force official said was the biggest aerial barrage of the war. It’s been almost two years since the war started between Russia and Ukraine. There are reported huge casualties of armed forces and civilians from both sides. The economy of Ukraine has borne big losses and innocent people have left their homes to get shelters in neighbouring countries to avoid being victims of the ongoing deadly war.

The war has only produced misery. Any deadly dispute can be solved through dialogue. It’s high time that Russia and Ukraine start a meaningful dialogue to resolve their differences peacefully instead of using force against each other and making the situation worse for the people of both the countries. I hope the sense of peace will prevail and both the countries will solve their disputed matter through negotiations to avoid war and make their region peaceful.
