The Pakistan cricket team landed in India after a gap of 7 years.

Pakistan cricket Team is in India for the ICC Cricket World Cup, which will begin from today (Thursday). We cricket lovers are waiting for the tournament to begin. Pakistan will play their first match on Friday against Netherlands. I hope captain Babar Azam and his team give their best performance in this tournament. Pakistani media and former cricketers have already started criticising their team for poor performance at the recently concluded Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.  That’s why entire responsibility is on Babar for picking up his guys for the World Cup.

I hope these guys manage to exhibit their skill, else it will be tough to justify Babar.  We South East Asians are mad about cricket and we want our team always to win. We won’t be able to digest defeat easily. That’s how we are.  I also appreciate Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for being vocal about his players. He is encouraging his team.  He was heard saying he supports his players and he is standing with them. This gesture of PCB Chairman is indeed amazing and I am sure this will motivate players to give their best. I have high hope from Pakistani players. I am sure they would give their best. I feel Babar, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf will do the magic the way they have always done.
