Leaders and diplomats the world over expressed condolences and support for Morocco.

The way the world has shown its solidarity with the people of Morocco who are going through their toughest time, coping with a powerful earthquake, which killed more than 2,000 people and destroyed their homes is laudable. The world should continue its humanitarian and financial support to Morocco till the time normal life restore (“World leaders offer solidarity after devastating Morocco quake,” Sept.9, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, leaders and diplomats the world over expressed condolences and support on Saturday for Morocco after a devastating earthquake struck near tourist hotspot Marrakesh. The 6.8-magnitude earthquake that hit late Friday killed at least 2,000 people and injured 329 others, including 51 in critical condition, according to Moroccan authorities. French President Emmanuel Macron said he was “devastated” by news of the quake, adding that “France stands ready to help with first aid.”

The new report on the Moroccan earthquake shows the death toll has reached at 1000 which is huge human loss and so sad. Morocco and Moroccan people are looking toward the world to continue their generous humanitarian help so they can cope with the disastrous situation.

I would like to appreciate the way the world has shown the support to the people of Morocco and helping them in this difficult time.
