In the cities, streets are made for people to roam freely and safely. Performing stunts is not wrong activity, but it should be performed at the designated places. It’s so shocking that a group of female motorcyclists performed dangerous stunts on a lark to get into the spotlight without realising that it can be dangerous for others (“Dubai Police summon female motorcycle riders doing dangerous stunts on a lark,” Sept.8, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the Dubai Police summoned a group of female motorcyclists who had concealed their motorcycle number plates and performed dangerous stunts on various streets in Dubai. Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, confirmed that the Dubai Traffic Police’s patrol summoned a group of girls after a video went viral on social media showing their involvement in reckless motorcycle riding and performing risky stunts on the streets of the emirate.

I hope people will learn the lesson from the incident in which Dubai Police took action, and avoid reckless motorcycle riding on the streets.
