Pakistan has made a great comeback on Tuesday at the ongoing Test match against Sri Lanka. All credit goes to Saud Shakeel. The way Saud has played his innings is simply incredible. He showed his class and craft. Saud became the first Pakistan batter to make a double hundred in Sri Lanka as the visitors took control of the first test after making 461 on Tuesday. No doubt, Pakistan has got a very dependable player in their squad after a long time.

The way Saud has stitched Pakistani innings is amazing. He with Agha Salman saved Pakistan from collapse. Shakeel was not out on 208 until the end of the innings, while Agha made a valuable contribution of 83. I am sure Saud has a very bright future and will fill in the shoes of former captain Yunus Khan.

In six tests since his debut in December, Saud has scored a double hundred, a hundred and five half-centuries. He has an average of 98.5. I am sure he will bring many more laurels for his country as he goes ahead. He is the future of Pakistan. I am looking forward to see him grow with the passage of time.
