It’s a great work done by the Jumeirah Group releasing 21 endangered turtles into the Arabian Gulf. Dubai’s ongoing commitment to marine biodiversity and ecosystems will encourage other entities to contribute in the noble work as well (“Dubai releases 21 endangered turtles into the Arabian Gulf,” June 16, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, in a demonstration of Dubai’s ongoing commitment to marine biodiversity and ecosystems, Jumeirah Group’s Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project has released 15 Hawksbill and 6 Green Turtles, both of which are considered endangered species, from its Jumeirah Al Naseem beach. Coinciding with the occasion of World Sea Turtle Day 2023, the release underscores the vital role turtles play in maintaining the balance of marine habitats. Dedicated to the preservation of endangered turtle species, the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project tirelessly focuses on the conservation of the Hawksbill turtle, a critically endangered species that annually nests along the Gulf coast.

There is no doubt that being human beings we have a responsibility to take care of not only humans but also other creatures which are facing serious threats to their existence.

I would like to offer my great respect to the Jumeirah Group for its keen interest and huge contribution to save the endangered species.
