The Arab League, one of the most powerful platforms of Arab countries, concludes in Saudi Arabia, adopting the Jeddah Declaration, which is a big breakthrough to resolve all outstanding issues, and it will be a hallmark of Arab unity (“Arab League Summit concludes in Saudi Arabia, adopts Jeddah Declaration,” May 20, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the 32nd Arab League Summit concluded in the Saudi city of Jeddah by adopting the Jeddah Declaration, which calls for Arab unity to solve regional issues, state media reported.

It underlined the Arab Peace Initiative to solve the Palestinian issues, urged for the de-escalation of tension in Sudan, called for the election of a new Lebanese President and the required reforms to lift Lebanon out of its crisis, and supported initiatives to promote security and stability in Yemen, Xinhua news agency reported.

The Arab League conference showcased the beauty of unity among the Arab countries with the participation of Syria on the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, which sent the message of hope, and it welcomed all-round Muslim Ummah.
