Although I had missed the inceptive start of Ramadan due to my short recess back home this not just gives an opportunity for those who are fasting but even other religions to spend more time doing things they love, whether you are single ready to commingle or with your loved ones.

We still have a few weeks to go for another long Eid holiday just around the corner. Since I am lucky to work from home it gives me more time to compose myself after work and spend quality time focusing on my health and diet which includes rigorous workouts, yoga and how can I skip listening to music? The day I feel weary to work out I use that mostly to practise some self-yoga at home to help balance my body, mind, and spirit achieving it in various ways. This also involves a little bit of relaxation and meditation. One of the best ways for me to stretch and strengthen my body focusing on my mind and relaxing my spirit.

I even end up doing anything like discoing, listening to Gangnam style or some fast numbers, especially during the weekend. The best moment is a cold shower as we have reached the summer months; a cool shower or a quick dip in a pool goes a long way to making me feel refreshed. No fast food, chocolates, no communal and heavy meals, junkies with friends as the still public is at the hangover of getting back to normalcy after two years of COVID. These are the best moments many of us need to use with shorter working hours where we can find time to manage and balance our lifestyle. Having said and done that I am wondering if I am fasting? I don’t mind trying it.
