Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is fulfilling its promises Imran Khan made during his election campaign. It is good to see that Imran Khan walks his talk, ordering concerned ministries to appoint facilitating officers of Grand-19 to look after overseas Pakistanis’ matters (“Imran orders to appoint facilitating officers in 39 ministries for overseas Pakistanis,” Nov. 5, Gulf Today website).

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to appoint facilitating officers in 39 federal ministries to provide better services to overseas Pakistanis.

According to the Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU), the officers will not be below grade 19.

The concerned ministries have been directed to notify the appointment of facilitating officers, the PMDU added.

The premier also directed to establish special sections and desks in 34 sub-departments of 13 ministries for the facilitation of overseas Pakistanis.

The federal departments were directed to share the information regarding this initiative with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for dissemination to the Pakistani diaspora. According to the government record there are more than nine million overseas Pakistanis who support their country through a huge amount of remittance regularly.

And after the last general election, Imran Khan became the prime minister of Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis made a record sending huge remittance because they have trust in Imran Khan that he is an honest man and will put Pakistan on the path of prosperity.  I would like to appreciate the sincere approach of Imran Khan to facilitate overseas Pakistan through various initiatives.

Roshan Digital account for overseas Pakistanis is one of the major facilities Imran Khan’s government made promise for overseas Pakistan.

Through the Roshan Digital account, overseas Pakistanis will be able to avail many facilities offered by the government of Pakistan with ease of documentation in the country.

Being an overseas Pakistani, I would like to remind one more promise Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan made with overseas Pakistanis that he will make sure that overseas Pakistanis will get the right to vote for the next general elections, overseas Pakistanis are still looking forward to the promise to be fulfilled soon.
