Rain, dust-stirring winds and drop in temperature likely until weekend: NCM

Rains coupled with dust-stirring winds and a drop in temperature are expected until next Thursday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Monday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times with a chance of some cumulus clouds to form in the south in the afternoon, possibly accompanied by some rains, it added.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 20 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.

Tuesday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times with clouds appearing in the west and south, interspersed with some cumulus clouds and possibly with rain. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Wednesday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times with clouds appearing in the west and south, interspersed with some cumulus clouds and possibly with rains.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.

Thursday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy at times with clouds, possibly cumulus, appearing in the west and south and a drop in temperature, especially in the west.

Light to moderate southwesterly winds will blow, turning to active and sand-stirring at times at 15 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have moderate waves but may become rough in the Arabian Gulf and regular to moderate waves but may become rough at night in the Sea of Oman.
