The security teams at Ajman Police were able to arrest an Asian just one minute after committing the murder of a compatriot person in Al Hamidiya 1 area in Ajman.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Bin Yafour Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Ajman Police, said that the operations room received a report stating that an Asian person had attacked a fellow citizen in his room and killed him.

"The victim’s neighbours called the police, as they heard shouting and fighting next door," Al Ghafli added.

Instantly, a patrol rushed to the reported location and arrived at the place in a record time. The perpetrator was caught, while he was leaving the victim's room after he had assaulted and killed him. He was caught red-handed at the crime scene.

In interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the crime due to family disputes in their home country of origin.

He admitted that he had attacked the victim inside his room and killed him by knife before attempting to flee the scene.

Thanks to the quick response of the security teams the perpetrator was arrested in just a minute after committing the crime. He was referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal actions.
