An Algerian young man received empathy from thousands of social media users after he was found in a terrible state and was regularly sleeping next to his mother’s grave.
Ismail Berabih lost his mother two years ago, and he entered into a state of great shock and sadness, and decided to sleep next to her grave every day, according to Algerian local media.
The social media users shared a video clip showing Ismail sleeping next to his mother's grave, while one of them tells of his insistence on attending daily, whatever the weather, summer and winter.
The governor of the state of Adrar, in southern Algeria, instructed the Directorate of Health and Population to take care of Ismael’s treatment and to examine him physically and psychologically, as he received first aid before referring him to a psychiatrist, to detect his mental strength and determine the extent of his need to enter a hospital for mental and neurological diseases.
