Sheikha Latifa blessed with a baby girl, names her Hind

Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council, announced the birth of her child on Sunday.

Sheikha Latifa named the baby girl Hind Bint Faisal.

Sheikha Latifa is the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikha Latifa took to Instagram and said, “Praise be to God for the fullness of grace and the completion of the grace... God blessed us with a baby girl, whom we named "Hind."God made her the apple of our eye and made her a good plant.

We were blessed today with a baby girl, Hind Bint Faisal.”

Sheikha Latifa got married to Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi in 2016.

The eldest son is named Mohammed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, the second daughter is named “Sheikha.

As soon as the news came to light, congratulatory message started to pour in.

Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of Dubai Community Development Authority congratulated Sheikha Latifa.

Hessa said, “Thank God for your safety Umm Muhammad... Blessings be upon you dear (Hind)… May Allah make her the apple of your eye 🙌🏻”

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority said, “Congratulations dear, May Allah Al Mighty make her a kindhearted girl. I Thank Allah for your safety."

Manal Taryam, Member of the Board of Trustees and CEO at the Noor Dubai Foundation said, “Thank God for your safety, congratulations, may God protect her and bless you with her righteousness.”

The humble Maktoum family is very active on social media and often shares latest development and major news of the emirate on their Twitter accounts.

In 2019, Sheikh Mohammed appointed Sheikha Latifa as Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).

The directive supports Sheikh Mohammed’s vision to raise Dubai’s status as a global cultural hub commensurate with its standing as a prominent international financial and business centre.
