Around 50 teenagers stormed a branch of the McDonald's restaurant in the British city of Nottingham, according to media reports.

Local media reported that 50 teenagers of both sexes stormed the restaurant, looted burgers, fries and drinks, and tried to get everything they could steal from the restaurant.

The media pointed out that McDonald's employees were unable to deal with this huge number of teenagers, while others who happened to be inside the branch filmed the incident.

According to Nottingham police, at least 20 of the teenagers remained at the McDonald's branch after the incident, and insulted the restaurant staff.

The police said that the same group was planning to loot another branch of the same chain of stores on Milton Street in the city, but they were dispersed later, and did not carry out their plan.

A Nottingham Police spokesman said that an investigation is currently underway into the incident, and security personnel are taking it very seriously.

The British security source confirmed that no young man involved in the looting has been arrested so far, but at the same time the cameras in the McDonald's branch are being unloaded, to reveal the identity of the perpetrators, in addition to hearing the statements of the restaurant workers.
