'We have not forgotten you,' Sheikh Sultan reassures citizens seeking jobs

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said on the Direct Line programme on Sharjah TV: "We reassure our sons and daughters who ask about jobs… We have not forgotten you. The employment file is in my hands."

Sheikh Sultan added: "We have created 874 jobs for citizens in Sharjah Police from the beginning of 2022 and the number will amount to 1,500 jobs by end of the year."

As many as 450 citizens have been employed in Sharjah government departments out of 1,000 jobs which will be provided in 2022, besides 217 jobs, which were provided to citizens instead of those who retired and resigned.

Sheikh Sultan continued, "91 citizens were employed in the private sector, and the new projects in the emirate will provide 600 jobs until the end of 2022."

Sultan directs appointment of more than 300 citizens

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has given directions for the appointment of 389 university and high school graduates. This came during His Highness’ intervention via the Direct Line Programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio. His Highness directed that 25 university and high school graduates be assigned in Geological Park in Al Fayha, 30 in Wildlife Centre in Al Dhaid, 32 in Al Qarm Centre in Kalba, while 300 high school graduates be appointed in Sharjah Safari in Al Dhaid.
