In horrific crimes in Egypt at least 6 people were killed in different areas on the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In Ismailia Governorate a young man murdered his father-in-law by hitting him on the head with a stick after the victim refused to send his wife back to him.

In the city of Al Salam in Cairo a person stabbed another in the stomach with a sharp tool, killing him over differences between them.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but he scummed to severe wounds in the abdomen and chest. Investigations revealed that a verbal altercation took place between them which developed into a quarrel, after which the perpetrator killed the victim.

In “Ain Shams” area of Cairo, the security services arrested a suspect who fatally stabbed his neighbour with a knife due to differences between them.

In Sharkia Governorate, a person was shot dead due to financial disputes with the perpetrator.

A housewife was found hanged, and it was found that the murderer was her husband's brother, who was referred to the Public Prosecution.

He was detained for four days pending investigations.

In South Sinai, a person was killed by his friend over differences between them.
