UAE sees 79 new COVID-19 cases and no deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 325,883 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 79 new coronavirus cases.

This brings bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 741,370.

“All the infected individuals belong to different nationalities and are in a stable condition after receiving the necessary care,” Ministry said in a statement.

“All tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment,” statement said.

There was no increase in the total number of deaths in the country due to COVID-19 related complication as no new deaths were announced on Saturday.

So the total number of deaths in the country stayed at 2,144.

An additional 89 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19 which brought the total number of recoveries in the UAE to to 736,081.
