On the special occasion of Teacher’s Day this year, Dubai-based resident and makeup artist Arwa Beig planned to make her 21st birthday memorable by pledging this day in appreciation of the teaching community for their dedication and commitment for the furtherance of society.

She planned to give two special teachers a beauty makeover followed by a lovely dinner.

“Nothing beats that feeling of giving back to the community,” said Arwa.

Teachers are the pillar of strength, and the guiding force in any student’s life. They influence and shape the personalities of children in the society, they eventually become responsible for how future generations evolve. Hence, Arwa has decided to dedicate this initiative to these special teachers who help us learn and progress in life. She plans to know more about the hardship of teachers during their makeover and as a token of appreciation, she will be giving them a ticket back home to see their loved ones, a gift voucher from Splash and a goody bag from Lifestyle which would include makeup products from international brands.

“It was a dream come true. Yesterday truly turned out to be a magical day for me. Arwa and her team have made me believe in miracles and angels. Thank you is a small word, but this comes from my heart with lots of gratitude,” said Maria Antonette D Cruz, who is a teacher in Ambassador School, Mankhool.

“Thank you Arwa for this wonderful day. I really enjoyed it. Hope you all the best in your life,” said Nashwa Mohamed who is a teacher in Leaders Private School, Sharjah.

Arwa started her first initiative under the Arwa Beauty Beliefs Campaign in September 2020 and since then she has brought the life stories of over 16 well deserving women to the forefront with the sole intention of creating beautiful memories for all involved.

She chooses to make a difference in people’s lives through her passion and talent. She dreams to empower women and grow her initiative to be an added value to the community of beauty. This initiative is supported by JYK- Future Philanthropist CSR Initiatives company.

“With a better understanding of the consequences of our actions, we can hopefully create a better world for all,” she said.
