All passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi from Aug.27 must apply for ICA approval five days prior to their flight, according to a statement on Etihad Airways website.

“If you’re flying on or before Aug.27, please register as soon as you can before your flight. Some exemptions apply,” says Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways.

Recently Abu Dhabi has announced that  travellers from 29 countries can travel to Abu Dhabi without having to quarantine.

This was revealed in an updated ‘Green List’ issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT- Abu Dhabi).

The List is effective from Friday (Aug.20, 2021) 12AM UAE time.

However, the department also clarified that the list is subject to change based on global COVID-19 developments.
