Monday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy and humid on the coasts, while low clouds will appear on the eastern coast in the morning, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

UAE-Heat Labourers splash water on their face during a hot sunny day in Dubai.

The NCM pointed out that the weather in general would be hot during the day and that some cumulus clouds might form on the mountains in the afternoon. The winds will be southeasterly, turning to northwesterly and northeasterly. They will be light to moderate and strong and whipping up sand sometimes, at 10 to 20 and up to 35 km per hour. The waves will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The NCM explained that the maximum temperature expected for Monday’s weather is 43˚C in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Ajman, while it will reach 44˚C in Dubai, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, 42˚C in Ras Al Khaimah  and 46˚C in Al Ain City.
