Want to get documents attested in the UAE, here is what you need to know

The UAE Foreign Ministry deals with all kinds of attestation in the UAE.

 

It can be contacted either through email or by visiting its happiness centres to get any kind of document attested.

 

The attestation services are provided at customer happiness centres within UAE and at UAE Missions abroad.

 

Educational, medical and marriage certificates, divorce contracts, and powers of attorney which are issued within or outside the UAE need to be attested.

 

Attestation of commercial contracts and agreements are also done at the happiness centres.

  

Following are the steps to get documents attested by the ministry.

 

First of all one needs to login to one of ministry’s smart channels and should use UAE PASS for individual service or create user account on MoFAIC’s website if attestation is done for a company.

 

One needs to go to ‘Individual or companies’ service list and select attestation of ‘official documents, certificates and commercial invoices.’

 

After clicking on ‘Start Service’ to apply, it will ask for the payment, which one can make through smart channel. 

 

After the payment is made the applicant will receive an SMS and Email with a reference number confirming successful application.

If the applicant is in UAE and chooses delivery service, the documents will be received and delivered for attestation by courier.

 

Applicant can also visit customer happiness centers within the UAE for to attest and retrieve the original document.

 

If the applicant is outside the UAE then applicant must visit the UAE Embassy to get document attested.
