Man shoots son, 7 other relatives and himself in Iran

In southwestern Iran, a 50-year-old man shot his 9-year-old son, seven relatives and himself on Monday, according to state media.

The incident happened in the city of Ahvaz, aside from those he killed, he also wounded three other people.

The report said the assailant, who was not identified, had a criminal record and had previously served time in prison without elaborating.
