A young man escaped with injuries after his car collided with a stray camel on the Al-Qishbah-Al-Sadr road, east of Makkah.

According to police report, a young man in his twenties was driving on the Al-Qusbah-Al-Sadr road, east of Makkah. The motorist was surprised by the presence of a camel on the loose in front him.  He could not swerve and hit the animal.

The camel died in the severe accident and was stuck in the car.

The young man was injured.

The security authorities rushed to the site immediately after receiving the report. The road was cordoned off.

The man was treated at the site.

On the other hand, people have called upon the camel owners to keep track of their animals. They are also discouraging the owners from allowing the camels to roam over large parts of the road, exposing them and motorists to great danger.

The residents pointed out that the Al-Qusbah-Al-Sadr road is an ancient road that still poses a threat to human lives. It is a road without traffic signs and with one lane for traffic and no fencing.
